ANC Mourns the Untimely Passing of MP Cde Fezeka Loliwe
06 March 2018

The African National Congress (ANC) mourns the untimely passing of Comrade Fezeka Loliwe, who tragically lost her life in a motor vehicle accident while on her way from her Parliamentary Constituency Office in Fort Beaufort in the Eastern Cape on Monday the 5th of March 2018

Comrade Loliwe has served the Mass Democratic Movement (MDM) diligently with great commitment. Having served in various civic and political organisations; namely SADTU from branch level to it's national structure. She was currently serving as a SACP Central Committee member and a Regional Committee member of the ANC in the Dr WB Rubusana region located in East London.

Her untimely passing is a great loss to the MDM and the country large. In her a revolutionary has fallen, who embodied Che Guevara words that a true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love. While narrating her life story, Comrade Loliwe once said " My parents were born and raised on a farm and I listened to the stories of their upbringing and it ignited the desire for my political activism". Her intolerance for injustice propelled her to dedicate her life to working for the liberation of the poor and working class. A task she remained committed too till her last breath.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Loliwe family, and her dear friends.
